Joanna Veevers' work is driven by a lifelong interest in drawing, pattern, and surface, shaped by her background in Printed Textiles and an MA in Ceramics from the RCA.

She uses a unique ceramic technique involving fine lines scratched into plaster and layered coloured slips, creating surfaces that resemble printmaking. Her inspirations include memories, landscapes, gardens, stitched textiles, collections, and the ordered visual language of museums, which inform both the content and structure of her pieces.
Joanna's work spans public and private commissions, ranging from mosaic floors to commemorative plaques, and often carries a subtle, decorative, and narrative quality rich in visual metaphor.
