Chloe Cheese was born in 1952 and studied at Cambridge School of Art 1973-6. She has since worked as an illustrator and printmaker also exhibiting drawings and paintings. Her elegant, understated work has been influenced by Oriental art and life.
Chloe's first solo show took place in 1979 at the Curwen Gallery which coincided with the publication of a portfolio of prints she made called 'Still Life in London and Paris'. She has exhibited in London galleries including the Curwen and Thumb galleries, in Japan and in group exhibitions.
Chloe's work can be found in both public and private collections including Sheffield City Art Gallery.
Her awards include the Lloyds Printmakers Prize 1981.
