Text Size
The website has been designed so that you can resize the text to your preference. Any changes you make via the methods described here may also affect other websites.
Changing the text size in your web browser
- Computers with Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Computers with Safari
- Computers with Mozilla/Firefox
- Computers with Netscape browser
- Computers with Opera
To check which version of Internet browser is installed on your machine:
- Select Help from the top menu of your browser
- Select About (followed by your browser name) from the drop down list.
- The screen that comes up will display which browser and version you are using.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher:
- Select View.
- Select Text size from the menu.
- Choose a size from the Largest to Smallest.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0:
- Select View
- Select Internet Options form the menu.
- Choose Fonts and change the size to Small or Large
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 (Macintosh):
- Click View
- Select Text Zoom
- Choose a size from the options 50% - 300% or Larger or Smaller.
Safari
If you are using Safari:
- Select View.
- Select Make Text Bigger to increase the text size or Make Text Smaller to reduce the text size.
- Or, to add and use shortcuts in the address bar:
- Select View
- Select Text size, two new buttons will appear next to the refresh button, a small A and a large A.
- Select the large A to increase the text size or the small A to decrease.
Mozilla/Firefox
If you are using Mozilla Firefox:
- In your browser window menu, click on View.
- Locate Text size, there you will have the option to increase or decrease text size.
- To increase the size of text, select Increase.
- To decrease the size of text, select Decrease.
- To revert back to the default size of text, select Normal.
If you are using Mozilla:
- In your browser window menu, click on View.
- Locate Text zoom (...%), there you will have the option to increase or decrease text size.
- To increase the size of text, select Larger.
- To decrease the size of text, select Smaller.
- Alternatively, you can adjust the size of text by selecting a percentage value (e.g. selecting 50% will decrease the text size by half).
- To revert back to the default size of text, select 100% (original size).
Netscape
If you are using Netscape 8.0:
- In your browser window menu, click on View.
- Locate Text size, there you will have the option to increase or decrease text size.
- To increase the size of text, select Increase.
- To decrease the size of text, select Decrease.
- To revert back to the default size of text, select Normal.
If you are using Netscape 7.0:
- In your browser window menu, click on View.
- Locate Text zoom (...%), there you will have the option to increase or decrease text size.
- To increase the size of text, select Larger.
- To decrease the size of text, select Smaller.

- To revert back to the default size of text, select 100% (original size).
If you are using Netscape 6.0 or 4.0:
- Select Edit.
- Select Preferences from the menu, a new window will open.
- Select Appearance from the left hand side menu within the new window.
- Under Fonts reset the size (for example, 10, 12, 14 and so on).
Opera
If you are using Opera:
- In your browser window menu, click on View.
- Locate Zoom, there you will have the option to zoom in/out of the page.
- To increase the size of text, increase the zoom level.
- To decrease the size of text, decrease the zoom level.
- To revert back to the default size of text, select 100%.
